Business Analyst for the "Team Management" team in HrTech
HrTech is an extensive ecosystem of internal Yandex services necessary for the work of tens of thousands of employees.
The "Team Management" team within HrTech creates products that ensure a unified process for personnel changes, including tools that help managers control costs and manage budgets. We operate at the intersection of classic product development and back-office processes — managerial, HR, and budgetary. This is a complex field, and it makes the tasks interesting and responsible.
We are looking for a business analyst who will become a crucial link between ideas and their implementation: the product manager answers the question "Why?", while the analyst answers the question "How?", starting from hypothesis analysis and working through user scenarios to writing consistent and clear requirements for development.
Designing service interfaces We plan to combine four services into a convenient tool that will allow a manager to plan and control hiring budgets. You need to design a new interface while preserving all the necessary functions of the existing products.
Researching the user journey You will need to figure out how to make the journey convenient for the user, how processes should be connected to each other, and how to remove unnecessary steps from the process without losing efficiency.
Developing user documentation and specifications for development It's necessary to understand how it should look in the system, so the process not only needs to be mapped out and validated with users — but also turned into a clear task for the development, testing, and data analytics teams.
