Hi! I'm Yana Shebaeva, head of the Public Relations department at Profi.ru. Our service helps clients find professionals for any task, and specialists earn money doing what they love and are good at.
Our department includes PR, ORM, SMM, influencer marketing, and special projects. We are responsible for how people learn about Profi.ru, what they think about the brand, and how it appears in external communications.
Recently, Profi.ru's SMM has grown significantly: there's more content, reach, engagement, and audience. We are now at a stage where it's important not just to produce good content, but to build a system that will consistently deliver results. To achieve this, we are looking for a Senior SMM Manager to help take the direction to the next level.
You will have one SMM manager reporting to you. It's important not only to build the direction's work but also to help your colleague develop, share experience, and create an environment where the team becomes even stronger.
We work in a hybrid format: mostly remote. We meet regularly to discuss plans and results, and sometimes gather offline for strategic breakfasts. At the same time, we try not to complicate processes with unnecessary calls and long approvals.
Why join us
- You can influence the SMM of a major brand. This is not a role where you just maintain a ready-made content plan. Here, you can change approaches, launch new formats, and define how Profi.ru appears and sounds on social media.
- There is room for experimentation. We are ready to try new mechanics, work with situational content, launch special projects, and seek non-standard ideas if they help solve business problems.
- The team works at the intersection of different communications. SMM is closely linked with PR, ORM, influencer marketing, and special projects, so you can influence not only social media but also Profi.ru's overall communication strategy.
What you'll be doing
In the first three months
- Immerse yourself in the current SMM state: understand channels, content, metrics, and processes, identify growth areas and development priorities.
- Take responsibility for the direction's development: build content planning, define the role of each platform, and assign areas of responsibility within the team.
- Establish collaboration with designers, contractors, and the second SMM manager to make processes faster and more transparent.
- Launch several new hypotheses, test formats and sections, and rebuild the analytics system to aid decision-making.
- Prepare an SMM development plan for the next six months with clear initiatives, metrics, and priorities.
In the next six months
- Build a work system where content is published consistently and doesn't require constant manual control.
- Make analytics a working tool for the team: scale successful hypotheses, timely abandon ineffective solutions, and use data for planning.
- Develop new formats, sections, special projects, and situational content to make SMM even more visible and responsive to current events.
- Develop the team and processes so that the second SMM manager takes on more independent tasks, and the direction's budget remains clear and manageable.
In the future
- Build a sustainable SMM growth system that doesn't depend on individual successful posts.
- Develop new platforms, original formats, and special projects so that Profi.ru remains a prominent participant in digital culture.
- Link SMM effectiveness not only to reach but also to brand perception, trust, and loyalty, and participate in developing the company's communication strategy.
What you need to join us
- Experience in developing SMM directions or managing brand social media at a Senior or Lead level.
- Ability to develop an SMM strategy, link it to business goals, and turn it into a clear action plan.
- Content management experience: from idea and editorial planning to performance evaluation.
- Confident command of analytics and understanding how to use data for decision-making.
- Digital savvy, understanding the specifics of key social platforms, and the ability to use their capabilities to solve brand tasks.
- Team management experience, process building, and contractor interaction.
- Interest in AI tools and a desire to apply them in the team's work.
- Autonomy in decision-making, readiness to test hypotheses and seek new approaches to SMM development.
