Digital Marketer (Sports)

We are looking for a marketer for the RUTUBE sports division who will be responsible for the marketing strategy, positioning, attracting and retaining the sports audience, as well as promoting sports products. The sports division covers three platforms: rutube.ru (sports category), premier.one (sports category), and rutube.sport

We are looking for a 360 marketer who can work at the intersection of brand, product, and performance marketing, is not limited to one promotion channel, and independently brings initiatives from idea to launch and measurable results. The role involves functional leadership without direct team management. To implement initiatives, the specialist will use the general resources of marketing and related departments, so it is important to be able to justify priorities, unite different teams, and lead projects to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing a unified marketing strategy for the sports division: defining positioning, target audiences, promotion channels, priorities, and KPIs, considering major sporting events, seasonality, and demand changes;
• Being responsible for attracting new audiences and increasing the consumption of sports content;
• Studying and segmenting the sports audience, identifying its needs and consumption scenarios, and developing specific approaches for key segments;
• Analyzing the market, sports agenda, and competitor activities, finding new growth opportunities;
• Developing audience retention mechanics after major sporting events and converting event traffic into regular content consumption;
• Collaborating with product, content, and editorial teams to improve the packaging of sports content and its promotion points;
• Launching joint marketing projects with TV channels, leagues, federations, clubs, sports media, authors, and brands;
• Generating marketing hypotheses, testing them with minimal costs, and scaling effective solutions;
• Analyzing the effectiveness of promotion based on key metrics: attracted audience, cost of acquisition, views, viewing time, retention, conversion to subscription, CAC, LTV, and ROMI.
