Deputy Marketing Director at L'Etoile
L'Etoile is looking for a Deputy Marketing Director.
Main focus of the role:
- Marketing communications: creative, communication strategy, design, and media placement.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing communications as a priority area of responsibility: developing the brand's communication strategy, creating creative concepts, managing visual style and design solutions, quality control of materials.
- Full 360° responsibility for marketing communications, reach, and branding.
- Media planning and placement; ensuring the effectiveness of media campaigns and optimizing media investments.
- PR and reputation management: preparing press materials, interacting with media, crisis communications.
- Participation and management of rebranding or network repositioning projects; developing communication rollouts and implementing a new visual language.
- Development and launch of tactical promotions, content plans, and creative solutions independently (creating briefs, design control, and preparing materials independently if necessary).
- Analytics of channel effectiveness, setting up tracking, A/B tests.
- Operational management of contractors and agencies (creative agencies, media buying, production), control of execution and budgets.
- Quick adaptation and on-the-spot problem-solving — from setting up advertising campaigns to operational content adjustments.
Requirements:
- In-depth experience in marketing communications: creative development, communication strategy, design management, and media placement.
- Retail experience.
- Proven experience in participating in/managing rebranding or network repositioning.
- Strong practical experience in media channel planning.
- Hands-on approach: you launch campaigns yourself, set up advertising and analytics, and are ready to take on operational tasks, not just manage a team.
- Ability to effectively allocate resources and achieve high results at any investment level: channel optimization, contractor negotiations, cost-efficient creative solutions.
- Strong communication skills, experience managing contractors and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in an office format (Moscow, Nakhimovsky Prospekt metro station).
Will be an advantage:
- Ability to independently prepare creatives/briefs and launch them into production.
- Experience in achieving key KPIs with optimized budgets.
