Lamoda team invites a Senior Legal Counsel to the Legal Support for Commerce, Marketing, and Intellectual Property department. The department faces a large number of tasks, and we value not only deep expertise in related legal fields but also an approach to work: the ability to hear the business, find non-standard solutions where others see a dead end, and help move forward.
Responsibilities:
None of your days in this position will pass without:
- implementing best practices for legal support of a marketplace - and searching for practices that are not yet on the market;
- contractual work related to both commercial, marketing, and advertising activities;
- analysis of local transactions and transactions complicated by a foreign element - with an understanding of the context beyond the letter of the law;
- resolving non-standard situations related to labeling, sale of goods, antitrust law, and other complexities of commercial relations - the more convoluted, the more interesting;
- preparing certificates and opinions upon requests from company departments regarding disputed situations with counterparties;
- expert support for colleagues from related departments: litigation, project management;
- risk assessment and management - with a readiness to take responsibility for recommendations;
- supporting colleagues: you are the person to whom they come with the most complex questions - and leave with answers.
Requirements:
- higher legal education (MSAL, MSU, HSE);
- experience in legal support of a digital intermediary platform (e-com) (support on a wide range of issues from various areas of legal regulation) from 3 years;
- knowledge of the specifics of internet advertising regulation, working with bloggers/influencers, advertising labeling;
- confident use of LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini);
- ability to work at a high pace characteristic of e-com;
- proactivity: not just identifying risks, but proposing solutions;
- proficiency in English at not lower than upper-intermediate level, including working with contracts and conducting negotiations, will be an advantage.
