Yandex Fintech is looking for an Operations Director to support and develop a financial platform operator.

This is a digital platform where clients can choose and arrange financial products — deposits, loans, insurance policies, and others — from various providers. The operator does not participate in transactions as a party but helps to conduct them, ensures security, and identifies participants. The operator's revenue comes from commissions from service providers or fees for platform access.

What your tasks will be:

• Organizing the FPO's work: you will organize the operational unit of the financial platform operator (FPO) work in accordance with Federal Law 211-FZ, including work with the FPO's special account. You will need to scale the FPO without increasing operational errors, customer complaints, and regulatory risks. You will need to create, set up, and monitor various operational processes — from accounting and special account management to preparing supervisory reports, transaction registration, risk management, and ensuring information security. You will constantly improve processes on the platform: reduce timelines, improve the quality of operations, and comply with internal and external SLAs.
• Your tasks will also include integrating the FPO into Yandex Fintech's processes — accounting systems, reporting systems, back-office processes, support and development team work, and payment infrastructure. You will need to support platform transactions and the client portfolio (including registering clients), and ensure the stable operation of the company's IT systems and operational processes. You will interact with FPO partners: reconcile data, control their quality, resolve discrepancies, and solve other operational tasks. You will lead the integration project across all main streams: managing timelines and risks. Additionally, you will work with the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs), the Federal Tax Service (FNS), and other regulatory bodies: prepare responses to inquiries and undergo inspections.

Requirements:

• Hold a higher education degree in accounting, economics, or engineering.
• Have at least three years of experience working in financial platform operators or the banking sector.
• Have implemented projects of comparable scale as an Operations Director, Head of Back Office, or Project Manager.
• Successfully communicate with various stakeholders and related parties.
• Be focused on achieving business results.
• Be able and willing to make decisions and take responsibility.

It will be a plus if you have:

• Worked as an Operations Director or Deputy Operations Director in an FPO.
• Undergone inspections by the Central Bank.
• Worked in a project team launching an FPO or in its initial stages.
