In Yandex Fintech we are looking for a Head of Capital Management and Regulatory Compliance in Treasury.
We are looking for a strong specialist to join the Treasury team, who will help Fintech build forecasts, work on improving financial stability, and manage regulatory metrics. The Treasury team is responsible for managing structural and physical liquidity, ALM risks, tax efficiency, and fundraising, and also acts as a business partner for the business accumulation vertical.
What tasks await you:
Participation in building financial models and forecasts for Yandex Fintech legal entities:
- Fintech already has several companies that require compliance with regulatory requirements regarding capital and related metrics and significantly influence financial management decisions.
Development of the capital management function, Central Bank regulations, and related analytics:
- Decisions on implementing capital adequacy management measures require detailed analytics on both the actual situation and projected changes. Together with the Yandex Fintech financial analytics team, it is necessary to continue developing tools, making them more transparent for management and finance.
Participation in making financial decisions regarding tax effects:
- Tax effects have a high impact on the quality of various financial decisions; therefore, when making them, it is necessary to understand what effects will accompany new decisions during implementation.
We expect you to:
- Be able to build forecast models for capital adequacy and other Russian Central Bank regulations, form proposals for their optimization, taking into account boundary conditions.
- Understand the specifics of different types of accounting.
- Understand the mechanics of how various financial products influence regulatory values and be able to quickly assess them.
- Be proficient in SQL/Python and Excel.
It will be a plus if you:
- Understand the principles of tax accounting.
- Have experience in risk-based pricing.
- Have experience in setting tasks for automating data analytics.
- Have structured complex financial models with a large number of interdependencies.
