Description
The Release and Deployment Management Service is responsible for the change management process in the Bank's IT systems and products (over 5,000 systems) and for release automation tools to reduce manual work (for over 40,000 employees) in planning, authorizing, and tracking changes, ultimately reducing the time to deploy changes into production.
The Product Owner for the Release and Deployment Management Service is responsible for shaping and implementing the vision for the release process at Sber, as well as for the end-to-end customer journey within the release process automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Shaping the vision and planning development
- Defining the metric tree and working with metrics
- Creating and analyzing VSM and CJM, identifying waste and gaps
- Generating hypotheses with an assessment of their impact on metrics
- Customer segmentation, conducting customer experience research
- Managing the development team
- Forming, managing, and coordinating cross-functional teams to realize the vision
- Communicating with related teams and departments
- Studying, customizing, and implementing global best practices and technology trends to realize the vision
- Developing and optimizing the software production process regarding release and deployment management
- Analyzing team performance and developing recommendations for process improvement
- Creating new automated services that eliminate routine operations for process participants
- Adapting and creating training courses.
Requirements
- Relevant experience (2+ years):
- In product management in the field of information technology
- Working with agile frameworks, including scaling (SAFe)
- Working with the JTBD framework
- Applying UX/UI design fundamentals
- Solving tasks using AI/ML (preferred)
- Launching a group of development teams and establishing a production cycle
- Knowledge of software production process fundamentals
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Systems thinking
- English language knowledge – Intermediate.
