Fundraising Director at the Oncologica Charitable Foundation
The Oncologica Charitable Foundation is inviting a Fundraising Director to join the team, who will take on both strategic development of the direction and operational management, structure existing processes, strengthen private fundraising, and build a strong team.
Key Tasks:
Strategy and Development:
- Formulation and implementation of the foundation's fundraising strategy with a focus on increasing donations
- Prioritization of fundraising directions, with a key focus on private donors
- Transition from a reactive work model to a systemic and predictable one
- Definition of KPIs, funnels, and key performance metrics for the directions
- Collaboration with foundation leadership on long-term goals and resource planning
Operational Management and Personal Involvement:
- Management of current fundraising directions: private, corporate fundraising, one-time and special projects
- Personal involvement in attracting donors (including key and regular donors)
- Structuring and optimizing existing processes and tools
- Ensuring stable team operation without emergencies or overloads
- Analysis of results, adjustment of approaches and tactics
Teamwork:
- Management and development of the fundraising team
- Building the team to meet the foundation's strategic goals
- Task assignment, competency development, regular feedback
Key Competencies:
Experience and Expertise:
- Experience in fundraising, partnership development, or capital raising
- Relevant experience in Business Development (BD), B2B sales, or long-term partnership development is considered – with a willingness to work in the charitable sector
- Proven experience in revenue growth / funds raised
- Experience working simultaneously with strategy and operational tasks
- Experience in building or scaling processes and teams
Skills:
- Understanding of private fundraising mechanics (regular donors, retention, LTV)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build systems and work with metrics
- Management skills: task assignment, prioritization, team development
