The theatrical and circus show Pushkin's Dreams is looking for an Operations Director.
Pushkin's Dreams is a large-scale theatrical and circus show where classics meet innovation. The production reinterprets Pushkin's fairy tales through a synthesis of circus art, theatrical dramaturgy, original music, and multimedia technologies.
Responsibilities:
Operational Project Management:
- Organize and oversee the seamless operation of all company departments
- Develop, implement, and improve operational regulations, standards, and business processes
- Build an effective system for reporting, monitoring, and analyzing key performance indicators
- Optimize resources and manage costs to improve operational efficiency
- Interact with department heads, coordinate joint work, and monitor task execution
- Identify and minimize operational risks, ensure a high level of process quality
- Participate in strategic planning and the development of the operations department
Financial and Economic Control:
- Participate in project budgeting and monitor budget execution
- Optimize expenses while maintaining the quality and efficiency of the company's operations
- Oversee the work of the department responsible for contractual activities
- Control payments within approved budgets
- Approve expenses with the General Director
Team and HR Management:
- Recruit, develop, and retain the team
- Set KPIs for employees and monitor achievement of results
- Formulate an effective system of communication and staff motivation
- Implement modern HR practices, including international approaches
- Resolve conflict situations within the team and maintain a positive working environment
Safety and Quality Control:
- Ensure compliance with labor protection and safety regulations
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Implement and maintain international quality standards
Strategic Development:
- Develop and implement the company's long-term development strategy
- Monitor global industry trends and analyze their application
- Implement innovative formats and develop international cooperation
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience as an Operations Director, Executive Director, or Producer in circus, theater, show business, production centers, and event agencies
- Experience in managing international companies or projects will be an advantage
- Ability to negotiate financial terms and rates with artists, contractors, and partners
- Experience managing multi-functional teams and large budgets
- Strong management and communication competencies
