We are looking for a Commercial Director for the FINNTRAIL fishing equipment brand.
Main Goals:
- Increase company revenue while maintaining profitability
- Effective management and development of the commercial function in Russia, CIS, and international markets (performance marketing, marketplaces, online store, offline store, wholesale)
- Growth of the customer base, leads, conversion, revenue, and profitability in e-commerce (online store and marketplaces)
- Scaling the international distribution and dealer network
- Aggressive development of all traffic and sales channels in the Russian Federation in new segments: tourism, alpine skiing, snowboarding, outdoor lifestyle
Tasks:
- Management of the commercial department (approximately 100 people)
- Development and implementation of commercial strategy across all channels
- Improvement of P&L and ROS indicators for each channel and sales country
- Search and implementation of scaling initiatives in e-commerce
- Growth in performance marketing efficiency
- Development of wholesale sales in new segments
- Development of the international dealer and distribution network
- Launching sales "from scratch" in new product categories across all channels
Required Experience and Key Competencies:
Expertise:
- Practical experience in managing omnichannel sales: online store (D2C), marketplaces (Ozon, Wildberries, Yandex Market, Lamoda, Sportmaster), dealer network, own retail (offline)
- Expertise in performance marketing focused on aggressive growth and repeat sales
- Understanding of unit economics in e-commerce (online store and marketplaces)
- Successful experience in scaling through launching new sales channels
- Proven experience in online sales growth
- Expertise in managing the full funnel in own e-commerce: traffic → conversion → order → repeat sales
- Budgeting, financial planning, and cost control skills
- Ability to make management decisions based on financial indicators and P&L
- Experience in managing conflicting sales channels and increasing overall profitability
- Experience in managing dealer and distribution channels
- Understanding of offline retail specifics
Management:
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies for large functions/departments
- Ability to build scalable systems, processes, and structures
- Experience in building effective regular management at all subordinate levels
- Experience in cross-functional interaction with marketing, logistics, production, finance, etc.
