Important condition: The job involves a shift schedule of 2/2 with 12-hour shifts (including night shifts). We are looking for those who are comfortable with this schedule and are ready to ensure 24/7 system availability. We are looking for a second-line engineer to support a large, high-load mail system. This is a job for those who love deep troubleshooting, are not afraid of the console, and want to work with a modern, complex technology stack.

Key Responsibilities: • Support of a unique ecosystem: operation and troubleshooting of over 150 internal company microservices (written in Go, Perl, Python, Lua, C/C++); • Resolution of technical incidents related to the operation of mail protocols and internal systems; • Data management: diagnostics and analysis of the state of distributed storage based on Tarantool, as well as work with PostgreSQL; • System monitoring in Grafana and Prometheus, prompt response to alerts; • Load profiling and identification of bottlenecks in the Linux environment (analysis of CPU, RAM, I/O consumption); • Interaction with clients (customers) on technical requests requiring deep expertise; • Service administration in Docker containers.

Requirements: • Confident Linux proficiency: command-line knowledge, understanding of OS subsystems, ability to diagnose system-level problems; • Experience with Docker (containerization, logging, basic troubleshooting); • Understanding of database principles: practical experience with PostgreSQL and willingness to work with Tarantool; • Skills in working with monitoring systems (ability not just to look at graphs, but to understand metric dependencies); • Ability to analyze code at a basic level and read application logs; • Readiness for night shifts and high responsibility. Will be a plus: • Understanding of the architecture of high-load mail systems; • Scripting skills (Bash, Python) for routine automation; • Experience with network protocols.
