Data Scientist for Avito's Commercial Department (Sales Quality)

About the Team

Avito's Commercial Department is responsible for developing the sales division and increasing its efficiency. Our team is responsible for developing a speech analytics system to better understand customer needs and improve the efficiency of sales managers.

We are looking for a strong DS engineer who will help us develop the Sales Quality direction (defining a quality sale).

Examples of Future Tasks:

• Deep dive into the specifics of the business together with colleagues from the product team;

• Develop processes for labeling data necessary for models;

• Create classification and text generation models;

• Deploy models to production, covering code with tests and setting up necessary monitoring;

• Evaluate the business impact of launching your solutions.

We expect that you:

• Have at least three years of experience implementing and maintaining ML solutions;

• Know how to label data for your tasks with high quality;

• Understand how the main ML algorithms work (from decision trees to transformers);

• Have experience working with Python microservices, Docker, SQL and noSQL databases.

It would be great if you:

• Have experience in building speech analytics systems and creating LLM bots;

• Know how to strictly measure the impact on the product and business in these tasks, and have measurable achievements from previous places of work;

• Know how to build a stable and scalable infrastructure for solving these tasks in production.
