MDI Group Yeli Estate Eco-settlement, Moscow
Hello
My name is Maxim Seryakov, I am an entrepreneur, building club cottage communities and houses in the Moscow region. One of my projects is the "Yeli Estate" cottage community, a 5-time settlement of the year in Russia, one hour from Moscow via Novaya Riga and M-11.
⚫ Key facts about the company and the vacancy
✅ MDI is a developer focused on the business and premium segments. We create the entire ecosystem of suburban life: ponds, bath complexes, sports grounds and tennis courts, children's play areas, our own management company, concierge service, and even a helipad). And all this is set against a backdrop of coniferous forests and top-tier nature.
✅ The company is in a phase of active growth. No longer a startup, but not yet a corporation) High workloads, demands, and speeds require dedication and 100% involvement.
✅ Geographically, this is the Klinsky district of the Moscow region, you will need to spend most of your time here in our marketing house; remote work is not an option. If you are from another region, you must be prepared for a lifestyle change.
Due to the increasing volume of tasks, we are opening a competition for a marketer - copywriter - content strategist - packer. Strong texts are your way of life. You are deeply knowledgeable. You follow trends. You learned from the best. You have an allergy to B.S. and weak, half-assed work - you yourself cringe at imperfect quality.
⚫ What will you need to do?
✅ Customer development with current/potential/lost clients. Notes, CJM.
✅ Build offers. Create websites, landing pages, and landing pages. Write email campaigns, video scripts, and SEO articles.
✅ You create the texts and meanings yourself, then manage designers, front-end developers, and the development team to achieve a cool end product.
✅ Work with the full cycle: customer development → idea/hypothesis → problem to solve → goal/desired outcome/activity plan → text → design → layout → launch → testing of numbers and conversions → optimization.
⚫ What do team members say about the advantages of working at MDI?
The company has a very cool product and its marketing. Premium real estate – it's interesting to work with, regardless of the specific tasks assigned.
The team grows together, those who don't fit in are kicked out, those who do are cool and their growth is visible. You develop significantly in marketing: your brain is always in shape, tasks require diving into product details + noticing and implementing even the smallest details. Moreover, growth is not only in skills but also in money: completed the task plan → received good compensation.
There are really a lot of tasks, they are complex, interesting, and they never end, you go and, like a soldier, complete tasks set by the general.
Very fast implementation cycle for solutions: conceived → done. 0 bureaucracy. Plus, there is a budget for implementing everything conceived and planned, they don't skimp on budgets for hypotheses that can bring money. Plus openness, the dialogue is generally transparent. Exactly the same feedback. Yes, not always pleasant, but there is always meaning in it. What's important is to always distinguish – this is a work matter, and this is about the person.
Working in nature, we have a separate marketing house, even without infrastructure (restaurants, coffee shops, stores within walking distance), it's great here, everything you need is available.
The most important thing is the opportunity to work directly with Maxim Seryakov, to learn not only marketing but also management and life skills in general. Max is a truly unconventional person, in a good way. He has his own unique perspective on things, and that's captivating. Next to such people, you either grow or you can't keep up. I personally love challenges, so over time I realized that I want to keep up. This happened after a period of honest communication and filtering certain moments. You find yourself next to a person who makes decisions, builds a business, and lives at a high pace: You see the entire inner workings of building a large company, Access to his experience and thinking, Development of prioritization skills, You influence business results yourself, Learning marketing / sales / management, faster practical development than in any other job.
A complete sense of involvement, I'm not just a cog in the machine, not a checkbox person. There's always an opportunity to prove yourself, take responsibility, deliver results, improve something. Both Max and the team are results-oriented and fast-decision makers. It's always about growth, not about a beehive-like collective where you do one thing for years, go unnoticed, and don't get promoted. Here, everything pushes you towards growth, and particularly, the management.
⚫ Why is the marketing department team not ready to work with remote marketers?
At first, I thought working in the middle of nowhere was crap because it's far from Moscow and civilization, it would completely change my usual lifestyle, plus it's like a real rotational assignment, I'd rarely see my wife. No supermarkets, no restaurants within walking distance, 90% of what I moved to Moscow for – goes to hell. After working, you realize that to do marketing at the level MDI does – you need to be on-site 100%. It's closer contact with the product, the team (not just marketing), faster immersion, living and sleeping in the fresh air – better than in the city. If you're not here – there's no live learning, you don't see the settlement yourself, what's changing, where the difficulties are. No proper meetings where you can get instant feedback. No constant engagement. Overall, no vibe of a live marketing department, which you have on-site.
Remote work for the company's marketers is not an option because life within the project is very active. I used to think a few visits a week were enough, but in reality, with rare presence, you lose connection with colleagues and what's happening, important details are missed. A living project requires the same lively dedication and impulse, therefore, remote work is completely unsuitable for this.
