Sber is looking for an Art Director (CGI / VFX / AI) to lead the visual direction of content, including image and product videos, as well as graphics for major technological events: forums, conferences, and product presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop visual concepts and set the art direction for key projects, from initial mood boards to the final video.
- Manage the entire computer graphics production process: concept, storyboards, 3D, animation, effects, compositing, color correction.
- Develop the generative AI direction: integrate neural networks into production, build hybrid pipelines of "classic graphics + neural networks," explore new tools and approaches.
- Work on content for stage screens, media facades, and LED installations, considering all technical nuances of the venues.
- Be responsible for the sound component of projects, equal to the visual: audio branding, sound design, sound effects, musical accompaniment. Formulate technical specifications for composers and sound designers, ensuring that sound works in conjunction with visuals and enhances them.
- Interact with contractors: computer graphics studios, motion design studios, neural network specialists, composers, and sound studios. Select teams for tasks, brief them, guide them, and control quality and deadlines.
- Lead an in-house team of 3D designers, motion specialists, and CG artists: assign tasks, help them grow, and maintain a positive working atmosphere.
- Ensure that all work complies with the brand book and is technically delivered to the final venue without loss.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Art Director in a studio, agency, or in-house team of a major brand.
- A portfolio showcasing projects for federal brands or large-scale events; we need to see that you have experience with similar scale projects.
- A solid understanding of the inner workings of motion design, 3D visualization, and visual effects.
- Understanding of audio branding and sound design principles: how sound shapes product perception, how sound effects work with graphics, and how to brief composers and sound designers.
- Proficient in relevant software: Cinema 4D, Houdini, Maya or Blender; Redshift, Octane, Arnold; After Effects, Nuke, DaVinci Resolve; Adobe Suite.
- Practical experience with generative AI: Midjourney, Nano Banana, Veo, Runway, Kling, etc., with real-world application in projects.
- Ability to manage projects and teams of 5+ people, comfortable working with contractors.
