Market and Trend Research Manager

ON Media is a content holding company that unites the digital ecosystem businesses of Erion (formerly MTS ecosystem) in the field of online and offline entertainment. The holding includes the online cinema KION, ON Studio, the book service KION Lines, the streaming service KION Music, the music company ON Label, and the company MTS Live, which manages the ticketing operators Ticketland and Ticketscloud, the production center ON Show, and develops a federal network of concert venues.

The research team provides the holding with a systemic understanding of the current market situation, consumer preferences, competitive environment, and industry trends. The team's task is to transform external data and market signals into business-understandable conclusions, strategic recommendations, and directions for new investments, to gather information and translate it into decisions: what is happening in the market, why it is important, what it means for the holding, where there are windows of opportunity, and where the company should move.

What you will be doing:

• Desk research: regularly conducting desk research on the markets, segments, and categories where the holding is present, analyzing media, content, platform, and digital markets;
• Studying the competitive environment: product offerings, tariffs, content strategies, distribution channels, partnerships, marketing practices;
• Preparing analytical notes on new topics and business requests;
• Trend watching: tracking trends in media, digital, entertainment, OTT, identifying not only "hot topics" but also genuinely significant signals that can affect the holding's business model;
• Processing industry research: collecting and systematizing external research, reports, reviews from agencies and analytical companies, comparing findings from different studies, resolving contradictions, and identifying controversial areas;
• Transforming arrays of external information into concise and understandable conclusions for the business;
• Creating a unified database of metrics: market volume in people, money, NPS, brand awareness; and preparing regular reports on industry trends;
• Managing an internal knowledge base: forming and maintaining a knowledge base on the market, audience, trends, competitors, structuring materials by topics, categories, and business areas;
