About the project:
We are developing a Learning Management System (LMS) similar to Schoology. We are looking for an experienced business analyst to conduct comprehensive analysis and prepare a detailed product specification.
What you will do:
Stage 1: Discovery and Requirement Formation
- Conduct interviews with the client and stakeholders
- Analyze existing market solutions (Classdojo, Toddle, etc.)
- Formulate and document project goals
- Develop a model for roles, access levels, and users
- Structure project documentation
Your deliverables:
- Visual user journey map for all roles with functionality
- High-level project scope + detailed MVP specification
- Access rights matrix by role
Stage 2: Analysis of Communication Functions
- Describe messenger scenarios (chat types, visibility, moderation)
- Design the notification and feed system
- Detail the logic for read statuses and message threading
Stage 3: Design of the Educational Process
- Describe scenarios for creating and checking assignments/tests
- Develop logic for statuses and workflows
- Design the reporting and analytics system
- Detail student portfolios and the grading system
Stage 4: Administrative Panel
- Differentiate administrator roles (school/system level)
- Describe user management scenarios
- Design the moderation and complaint handling system
- Detail system settings and reference data
We expect from you:
✅ 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
✅ Deep understanding of business analysis methodologies
✅ Systems analysis and architecture design skills
✅ Experience creating user journey maps, use case diagrams
✅ Ability to conduct in-depth interviews
