The success of Auto.ru is largely built on the use of the most modern machine learning technologies, whether it is the development of AI agents, ranking and recommendation tasks, or price estimation.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated product manager. You will help the product and ML team research and implement the most advanced technologies to grow the key metrics of the service in B2C and B2B areas.

What tasks await you

Implementation of products based on generative neural networks We believe that generative neural networks will revolutionize the classifieds business in the coming years. And to make this possible, together with the ML engineering team, you will look for growth points at the intersection of LLM technologies and business.

Development of recommendation systems Would TikTok or YouTube be as good without a quality recommendation system? Already, a significant share of Auto.ru's valuable traffic comes from recommendation systems, and this share will only grow.

You will delve into the complex infrastructure of a service with multi-million MAU, formulate hypotheses and conduct experiments, define success criteria — and ultimately, based on data, make decisions that will improve the key metrics of the service.

Working with cross-functional teams You need to build effective interaction with customers and other stakeholders, coordinate the work of all process participants in your area of responsibility, as well as set tasks for the ML team, development, and analytics. It is necessary to manage requirements skillfully and be able to separate the wheat from the chaff in an environment with a very high degree of uncertainty.

Process improvement Our team is constantly growing, so we need to build and improve processes. Together with the team, you will continuously think about how to improve the development process from idea generation to production release. Need to improve the DoD formulation, add load testing, expand control metrics on dashboards, or set an SLA for incident response time? Suggest, agree, and implement! 🙂

We expect you to

• Have worked as a product manager for more than three years
• Have experience working with ML/AI products
• Love analytics and data and possess the basics of mathematical apparatus
• Have implemented complex projects with multiple development teams
• Are not afraid of application logs and are ready to explain to a developer how they should work and why
• Understand product metrics and their interconnections
• Know how to work with a large number of tasks in conditions of high uncertainty
• Think first about results, know how to go beyond the usual to achieve a goal
