Job Description
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with practical experience in selling software development services: staff augmentation, team extension, dedicated teams, or development outsourcing. If this is your experience, we would be happy to hear from you. At the end of the vacancy, you will find 5 short questions.
About Us
GULTIM is a boutique engineering company working with tech companies in international markets. We assemble engineering teams for clients' business and product tasks: from individual senior engineers to dedicated development and product teams.
Our clients operate in SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, digital products, and other technology industries.
In this role, you will independently manage the full sales cycle with a focus on Europe and North America.
Work format: fully remote
Location: any, with working hours overlapping with Europe and/or North America
Responsibilities
- Manage the full B2B sales cycle: outbound prospecting, first contact, discovery, negotiation, closing deals, and long-term account development.
- Build and grow your own pipeline through LinkedIn, cold outreach, professional communities, networking, referrals, and events.
- Reach out to decision-makers: CEOs, CTOs, VPs and Heads of Engineering, Delivery Managers, and other tech leaders.
- Qualify client requests: tech stack, engineer seniority, team structure, cooperation format.
- Prepare commercial proposals in collaboration with recruiting and delivery teams.
- Coordinate the commercial aspects of launching new engineers and teams.
- Develop existing accounts through additional positions, team expansion, and repeat sales.
What We Expect
- 3+ years of experience in selling software development services, dedicated teams, team extension, or similar B2B technology services. Candidates with less experience may be considered with strong and measurable results in attracting new clients and onboarding engineers or teams.
- Full-cycle sales experience (360°) with a pipeline that you generated yourself, rather than primarily receiving from inbound leads, marketing, or SDRs.
- Clear understanding of the cycle: prospecting → discovery → client request → engineer/team proposal → negotiation → launch → account development.
- Experience in simultaneously managing and growing multiple active accounts.
- Good understanding of the engineering landscape: common tech stacks, roles, and seniority levels (Middle, Senior, Lead).
- Confidence in qualifying technical requirements and communicating with technical decision-makers.
- High level of autonomy, responsibility, and self-organization in a remote setting.
- Proficient English (B2+/C1 and above).
If your experience is mainly in selling SaaS products, advertising, general consulting, or non-technical recruiting, this role is likely not a good fit for you.
What We Offer
- A fixed monthly salary plus a bonus tied to the profitability and growth of your client portfolio. Details will be discussed on the first call.
- Fully remote work, a high degree of autonomy, and trust.
- Direct impact on business development strategy and market entry.
- Work with technology companies of various sizes and stages in international markets.
- Support during onboarding and integration into sales, recruiting, and delivery processes.
How to Apply
Send your CV and brief answers (2-3 sentences each) in a cover letter to the questions below. Applications without answers will not be considered.
- Industry Experience. Have you personally sold staff augmentation, team extension, dedicated teams, or development outsourcing? What exactly did you sell, who were the typical clients, and what was your role in sales?
- Pipeline. What percentage of your pipeline did you personally generate, as opposed to inbound leads, marketing, or SDRs? Which channels worked best?
- Onboarding. What is the maximum number of engineers you have onboarded for clients in a single month? How many of them were for clients you brought in yourself?
- Markets. Which markets have you personally sold to (Europe / UK / USA / Canada / CIS / other)?
- Best Case Study. Describe your strongest client acquisition case: how did you find the client, how did you initiate the conversation, what were their needs, what did you sell, how long was the deal cycle, and what was the result?
