Hi! I’m Vanya, and I’m in charge of the Growth cluster at Profi.ru. Our service helps clients find professionals for any task, and specialists — earn money from what they love and know how to do.
The Growth team helps the service grow by attracting new user segments and increasing repeat value: so that clients return, specialists earn more, and using Profi.ru becomes a habit.
We work differently from the rest of the product — through short experiments. We test hypotheses as cheaply as possible, are not afraid of non-scalable solutions, quickly test ideas, and easily abandon them if they don’t work.
We are now launching an experimental AI-first team — we want to test how much faster we can build a product if we build it around AI from the start.
There is no team yet. Initially, it will be you and an engineer; a designer may join later. In parallel, we will need to figure out how such a team should operate within a large product: how to release quickly, how to integrate into processes, and where the boundaries of autonomy lie.
Most of us work remotely, but you can meet with some of us at the office :)

What You'll Be Doing
In the first 3 months
- Immerse yourself in the Profi.ru product, its economics, and specifics.
- Together with me, define the team’s working format and decision-making principles.
- Formulate the first roadmap and priorities.
- Launch an MVP assistant for Profi.ru specialists.
In the next six months to a year
- Develop the assistant into a full-fledged product in production.
- Launch an application for online consultations.
- Find a working model for the new team: processes, speed, integration with the rest of the product.
- Test several new AI directions (B2B, services for specialists, and others).
In the future
- Scale successful solutions or launch new directions.
- Switch between directions if more promising ideas emerge.
- Influence how AI is used at Profi.ru at the company-wide level.
What You Need to Join Us
- Senior-level product management experience. You know how to formulate a strategy, defend it, and achieve results through specific decisions and metrics.
- Hands-on experience with LLM / AI products. You can share examples of AI-native features or products you've launched — at work or in your own projects. You understand the limitations and real capabilities of the technologies.
- Understanding of the full development cycle. From idea and hypotheses to production: you know how to prioritize, work with engineers, and bring solutions to release.
- Data analysis. You can write SQL queries, calculate metrics, and use data to make decisions.
- Research experience — you know how to talk to users and turn insights into product hypotheses.
- Experience launching products from scratch. Experience in startups or 0→1 projects is a plus.
- Expectation management. You know how to synchronize with stakeholders, highlight risks in advance, and negotiate priorities.
- Autonomy — you know how to choose a focus and bring tasks to completion.
- Willingness to experiment. There will be many hypotheses, some of which won't work — it’s important not to be afraid of this and to keep searching.
- Interest in the AI market. You follow trends and understand where the industry is heading.
