Pricing Analytics Manager at Lavka
Yandex Lavka is a tech-enabled quick-commerce service for grocery delivery. We are constantly growing: launching new products and expanding into international markets.
Our team is responsible for Lavka's economics: we determine how prices and discounts are formed to balance the interests of users, partners, and the business. We build demand models, optimize pricing algorithms, test hypotheses, search for the optimal balance between profit and growth, research network effects and customer behavioral patterns.
Algorithm Development Strategy You will build Lavka's system for managing prices and discounts — from regular prices to promotions and experiments. Your team will create economic models based on Lavka data, analyze demand elasticity, search for a balance between profit and growth, and research customer behavioral patterns.
Experiment Analysis and Growth Point Discovery You will launch A/B tests with non-trivial network effects and apply modern statistical methods: stratification, CUPED, switchback experiments, and others. Your decisions will directly impact key business metrics and quickly be reflected in the service's results.
Analytics Team Leadership You will act as the technical and functional lead for the direction: forming, developing, and strengthening the team, interacting with stakeholders from business and development, building effective communication, and establishing a process for project prioritization and evaluation.
