Bizdev (digital goods)
Salary by agreement
Work experience from 2 years
Hi! We are looking for a strong partner management lead to join our team, who will help scale the g-engine service and build systematic work with B2B partners. The role will suit a person who confidently conducts complex negotiations, launches integrations, develops a partner network, and knows how to manage a team. This is about developing strategic partnerships, negotiations, coordination with internal teams, and results control.
About the project:
g-engine is the B2B direction of ggsel, through which partners gain access to digital goods and infrastructure for further sale and integration. We are developing this direction as a separate growth channel: we work with suppliers, sellers, websites, banks, and other B2B counterparties.
Website: g-engine.net/ru
Role tasks:
- Form and develop a pool of suppliers, banks, payment and B2B partners in the digital goods area.
- Negotiate commercial terms, discounts, commissions, exclusives, limits, and settlement schemes.
- Personally accompany strategic partners at the stages of attraction, launch, and initial results.
- Hand over partners after stabilization to the relevant vertical without loss of quality and context.
- Manage a team of junior managers: set tasks, control the pipeline, analyze cases, train in negotiations and deal logic.
- Implement team work standards: communication templates, onboarding stages, qualification, statuses, and reporting.
- Analyze the assortment of partners and internal products: profitability, turnover, demand, delivery quality, and scaling points.
- In conjunction with product and analytics, define priority categories, partners, and initiatives for GMV and profit growth.
- Coordinate internal teams when launching partners: product, finance, legal, development, support, and operations.
- Monitor compliance with commercial terms, fulfillment of obligations, service quality, and resolution of escalations.
- Participate in the formation of the development strategy for the direction, partner funnel, and growth plan for key categories.
- Prepare regular management reports on negotiations, launches, problem areas, and team results.
What is important to be able to do:
Experience in developing a B2B direction in digital goods is required: searching, attracting, launching, and developing partners. At least 2 years of experience in partner management or business development is important, with at least 1 year in a team lead role. Strong negotiation skills, team management experience, work in a cross-functional environment, and an excellent understanding of the specifics of digital goods – gift cards, game keys, gifts, donations, and subscriptions are also expected.
Hard skills:
- Partner management and business development: searching, qualifying, launching, and developing B2B partners.
- Negotiations at all levels: owners, C-level, procurement, banks, payment teams, operational and technical representatives.
- Key account management: retention, turnover growth, renegotiation of terms, individual work schemes.
- Building partner processes: onboarding, handover, SLA, escalations, reporting, and quality control.
- Manager team management: training, development, control of independence and communication quality.
- Operational and product analytics: assortment, unit economics, profitability, GMV, conversions, category priorities.
- Financial and commercial logic: commissions, margin, rebate/cashback mechanics, payment chains, pricing.
- Launching and supporting new partners: coordination of internal teams, deadline control, integrations, and initial sales.
- Document flow and legal coordination: contracts, addenda, compliance, KYC/KYB, financial limitations.
- CRM and reporting: pipeline, statuses, forecasts, plan vs. actual, and management transparency.
Why is this role interesting?
This is a position for someone who wants not just to manage partners, but to build a full-fledged B2B direction as a system. There will be a lot of influence on the product, economics, processes, and business growth. The role combines strategy, negotiations, operational management, and team work – meaning it offers the opportunity to influence results at multiple levels simultaneously.
