Our team is engaged in the legal support of M&A transactions. We analyze the risks of the acquired asset, develop the optimal mechanism for concluding the transaction, support negotiations, and evaluate the results.
Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- providing legal support for M&A transactions, corporate transactions, transactions for the creation of joint ventures and strategic partnerships, and the process of integrating companies acquired as a result of Transactions into the Sberbank system
- obtaining permissions from the Central Bank and other regulators in all jurisdictions within the framework of Transactions, as well as in connection with the indirect acquisition of control by Sberbank over non-resident organizations
- monitoring law enforcement practice
- participating in structuring Transactions, negotiations, and developing complex legal documentation
- analyzing legal risks under Russian and foreign law
- organizing the process of pre-trial and judicial protection of Sberbank
- preparing conclusions on key requests for internal and external counterparties
- coordinating work with external consultants.
Requirements
We expect you to:
- be a specialist with a higher legal education
- have relevant work experience of at least 6 years (preference given to banking / consulting / international companies)
- have English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
- be able to use neural networks in daily work.
