Project Manager (with Business Analyst Function)
About the Role:
We are looking for a project manager who understands the business side of the product. You won't just be tracking tasks by deadlines – you'll help the client articulate exactly what needs to be done, document it in clear requirements, and see it through to implementation. We don't expect you to be responsible for profit or product strategy, but the ability to translate business needs into a structured Technical Specification (TS) and correctly set tasks in the backlog is a must.
The projects involve air ticket purchases, online check-in, additional services, order payments, and other topics within the aviation industry.
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis and Requirements Elaboration (~50% of time):
- Communicate with business stakeholders, identify needs, and gather requirements.
- Write functional requirements (FR) and user scenarios understandable to development.
- Set and decompose tasks, manage priorities within the project.
- Jointly assess with the client the impact of implementation (influence on customer experience, operational metrics).
- Participate in acceptance testing – verify that the result meets the written requirements.
Project Management (~50% of time):
- Develop the project roadmap: define stages, key milestones, and deadlines.
- Monitor execution and synchronize participants (developers, analysts, designers, marketers, external contractors).
- Risk management: identify potential issues, develop mitigation measures, escalate when necessary.
- Prepare project charters, regular status reports, and final documentation upon launch.
- Coordinate testing and handover of results to operations.
Our Expectations:
Higher education (technical background is a plus).
- Business-side work experience is mandatory. You understand the company's and clients' needs, can discuss them constructively with development, but are not required to be responsible for the product's profit and loss statement.
- Full-cycle project management experience of 2+ years: from initiation to implementation and closure, including working with roadmaps and risk management.
- Business analyst skills: ability to gather and document requirements, write FR and user scenarios, set tasks in the backlog.
- Ability to communicate with distributed teams and set tasks in a technically clear manner, including in the context of a microservices architecture.
- Experience interacting with internal stakeholders (IT, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance) and external contractors.
- Ability to organize acceptance testing and ensure the result matches the initial requirements.
What We Offer:
- Discounted air tickets for employees and their family members (50% to 90% discounts)
- Office-based work at Arbat 1, hybrid option available
- Annual paid leave + additional paid leave (42 days total)
- Additional social benefits
- Medical services (own medical center)
- Voluntary medical insurance program (VMI with dentistry)
- Spa resort treatment
- Children's recreation and compensation for preschool education costs
- Corporate sports programs
- Corporate mobile service plans
- Non-state pension provision
