IT Project Manager in Pawnshops/Business Analyst
For this vacancy, we are considering a Business Analyst/IT Project Manager.
This employee will act as a funnel for all projects from the business side and related departments (accounting, HR, AML/CFT, Security, etc.) for interaction with IT.
Their main function will be to control all IT projects from the business side, approve work execution, billing, etc.
Experience in this area is required, as well as mandatory experience working in the pawnshop industry.
Key Tasks:
- Formulating Business Requirements: Developing high-level product requirements, describing business logic and desired user experience for pawnshop clients and employees.
- Accounting for Regulatory Requirements: Ensuring that all implemented solutions strictly comply with legislation (requirements of the Central Bank, financial monitoring, marking rules, etc.).
- Interaction with the IT Team and Priority Management:
- Backlog Prioritization: Exclusive right to determine which tasks the IT team takes on first, based on business value, potential profit, or criticality for legislation.
- Expectation Management: Acting as a "single point of contact" for communication between the operational business of pawnshops and the IT department.
- Overseeing, Monitoring Project Timelines and Quality:
- Monitoring key milestones (micro and macro deadlines) of project implementation, promptly resolving business blockers that slow down development.
- "Output" Quality Control: Ensuring that the finished IT tool solves a real business pain point, not just meets the technical specification.
- Operational Risk Management: Forecasting and minimizing risks when launching new systems in the pawnshop retail network.
- Acceptance, Results Evaluation, and Implementation:
- Organizing Business Testing (UAT): Final acceptance of functionality before release by key users or focus groups.
- Evaluating the Effectiveness of Completed Tasks: Analyzing results after implementation (measuring product and financial metrics, calculating economic impact, gathering feedback from appraisers and clients).
- Change Management: Overseeing the process of implementing new features in the network: controlling the update of internal regulations, instructions, and organizing training for pawnshop staff.
