Description
The Release and Deployment Management Service is responsible for managing the change process across the Bank's Information Systems and products (over 5,000 IS) and provides release automation tools to reduce manual work (for over 30,000 employees) in planning, authorizing, and tracking changes, ultimately reducing the time to bring changes into production.
Responsibilities
- Developing and optimizing the production process regarding release management to reduce cycle time and increase delivery frequency
- Customizing and implementing release management practices across the Group of Companies
- Adapting and creating training courses, conducting training sessions
- Gathering, analyzing, forming, and agreeing on requirements
- Conducting interviews with users and the customer regarding requirements
- Communicating with external development teams to capture requirements
- Analyzing changes in product requirements within the scope of the software being developed
- Consulting and training users on working with the product.
Requirements
- Higher education – Specialist, Master's degree (preferably in Applied Informatics, Business Informatics)
- Work experience as an analyst – at least 3 years
- Knowledge of software development fundamentals and software architecture
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
- Knowledge of principles of system and business analysis, process management (BABOK, Wiegers, Kon)
- Knowledge of methods for gathering, evaluating, and analyzing information, working with data in tools (JQL queries, Excel)
- Knowledge of graphical modeling notations (UML, BPMN, etc.)
- Knowledge of English – Intermediate level
- Proficiency in office software packages (MS Office, OpenOffice)
- Desired proficiency with the Atlassian product stack (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket)
- Analytical thinking – ability to distinguish and summarize primary and secondary information
- Systems thinking – understand how things are interconnected. Understand the meaning and patterns in observed sequences. Ability to prepare for the future and influence the final product
- Communication skills – clearly and concisely convey your position, argue the pros of a solution, effectively handle objections, know how to negotiate, not be afraid of public speaking
- Teamwork – ability to work in a team towards common goals
- Attention to detail – find a balance between quality and task deadlines
- Literacy – ability to express thoughts clearly and coherently, in writing and orally
- Technical literacy – ability to apply knowledge about information systems, how they work, interact, and exchange data with each other
- UX/UI basics – ability to apply principles of UX/UI design.
