Description
We are a team that automates the business process of planning the financial result of the Bank and its subsidiaries. The team's product is an AS (Automated System) for creating and operating planning models. The AS covers the entire planning process—from developing calculation algorithms and collecting necessary data to forming final plans and analytical reporting for end users. The system has built-in business processes that ensure key operations are performed by all participants, includes mechanisms for integration with external information systems for data exchange, and tools for monitoring data flows.
We are looking for a Junior SAP Business Analyst with experience in the Bank's financial services and a desire to transition to a new role.
The position is a maternity cover, involving a fixed-term employment contract.
Responsibilities
- analysis of existing business models/algorithms/approaches to planning, forming proposals for their optimization, proposing new ones
- aligning methodology adapted to the automated system, prototyping, setting technical specifications for development
- data model design: set of drivers/indicators and their analytics
- creating settings necessary for data loading, input/output, and calculation
- writing formulas for calculation
- forming requirements for external data provider sources
- testing the model, forming integration testing scenarios
- communication with the customer throughout the automation stage, demonstrating automation results to the business, user training, preparing training materials
- configuring the model in the production environment, handing over the model for operation
- active support of users during the business planning process.
Requirements
- practical skills in participating in planning or forecasting processes, knowledge of specific planning models is a plus
- knowledge of RAS (Russian Accounting Standards), IFRS, corporate finance, budgeting, management accounting
- advanced Excel user including work with pivot tables
- responsibility, stress resistance, readiness for an intensive schedule during certain stages of the process, friendliness, autonomy in solving routine tasks.
Preferred:
- experience in describing business processes, forming and preparing requirements for the development of designed functionality
- understanding of database design principles and relationships between objects
- experience in describing business processes, knowledge of BPMN, EPC notations, ability to read and build ER diagrams
- experience working with SAP and/or SAP implementation.
