An IT company MerlionTech (part of MERLION group of companies) is seeking a Team Lead of Business Analysts (transport logistics, TMS).
MerlionTech is part of the large and dynamic Merlion group of companies. This means the team has many opportunities to work with diverse and interesting projects for numerous brands and vendors.
Specifically, the team is involved in developing integration solutions with marketplaces and creating and supporting high-load systems capable of handling the most complex tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of business analysts (3 people): training, assigning and monitoring tasks, planning resources and sprints (50% team lead tasks, 50% business analysis)
- Reviewing Business Functional Specifications (BFS) and business process diagrams created by the team
- Describing and analyzing current business processes (ASIS) and designing future business processes (TOBE) using BPMN 2.0 notation
- Formulating and structuring business functional requirements
- Writing regulations, policies, and instructions
Candidate Profile:
- Experience managing a team of business analysts (recruiting and onboarding business analysts, resource and sprint planning, task assignment, performance monitoring, methodology development)
- At least 1 year of experience as a Team Lead, and at least 5 years as a Business Analyst
- At least 3 years of experience in retail/distribution/transportation companies
- Deep understanding of internal and external logistics processes, including inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and supply chains. Knowledge of transport logistics management systems, the transport market, and cargo transportation rules and standards
- Experience participating as a Business Analyst in large projects related to logistics processes: TMS, WMS, ETRN (Electronic Waybill System)
- Knowledge of process management methodologies. Practical experience implementing a process-based approach, modeling, and describing business processes (BPMN notation)
- Strong communication skills: ability to interact with colleagues at various company levels, assign tasks, and explain complex concepts
