Yandex Crowd is looking for a Head of Finance Team.

Yandex Crowd is a major infrastructure service of Yandex. They implement crowdsourcing to scale business processes (data labeling, content moderation, field research, testing) and build internal product functions (customer service, telemarketing, localization, and documentation).

They are looking for a strong financial partner and manager – the Head of Finance Team. You will be responsible for the full cycle of financial planning, budgeting, and management reporting for several areas, as well as for team development. You will become a link between finance and business and help make informed decisions.

What tasks await you:

• Financial partnership and business decisions: you will act as the key financial partner to the CEO of Crowd and heads of departments, participate in strategy formation and product/operational decision-making. You will evaluate initiatives and business scenarios, propose alternatives, and help find a balance between growth, investments, service quality, efficiency, and risks. You will build partnerships with clients and their financial partners: jointly plan budgets and demand, agree on tariffs, funding models, and cost re-billing rules.
• Business model and financial framework: you will manage the financial model and ensure a target EBITDA of 0, develop monetization, tariffing, and billing models. You will develop methodologies for cost of goods sold, CPT, unit economics, and cost allocation, evaluate the economics of new products, and ensure P&L transparency. Your responsibilities will also include processes: budget campaigns and forecast revisions, month-end closing, reporting with analytics, and resource modeling.
• Transformation and automation: you will form the target model of the financial function and its transformation roadmap, consolidate processes and data into a unified financial framework, automate budgeting, forecasting, closing, billing, allocations, and reporting, reduce manual operations, errors, and financial cycle times.

Requirements:

• More than five years of experience in finance, including FP&A or related roles.
• Excellent understanding of how to build management reporting and plan budgets.
• Proficient in advanced Excel and building financial models.
• Experience managing a team as a direct supervisor or project lead.
• Understanding of how to interact with business units and help them make data-driven decisions.
• Willingness to work with not-yet-perfectly-established processes and improve them independently.

It will be a plus if you:

• Have worked in large companies with complex financial structures.
• Have experience in audit or consulting and a good understanding of reporting standards.
• Are proficient in Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Know PowerPoint and can create high-quality presentations for top management.
