Head of Supply Chain Management Development Group in Data Center Infrastructure Management

We develop DCIM — the core of a modern automated data center. Our platform integrates device management, IT asset inventory, capacity planning, and monitoring. It is a critical infrastructure for building any Yandex services: from cloud hyperscalers to financial transactions and AI/ML platforms.

We are looking for a technical leader for our service development team. You will work in the most important subdomain of DCIM — supply chain management. You will be engaged in a complex and interesting process: from ordering to installing new IT equipment in data centers.

What tasks await you

Development You will write code in Python and Go, conduct code reviews, and develop algorithms for automatically selecting server configurations: choosing the best options from millions of combinations based on price, TDP, and performance.

Architecture Design You will design fault-tolerant systems operating in different regions around the world. You will need to figure out how to implement real-time what-if scenarios, organize chains of interconnected background computations, and much more.

Team and Process Development You will need to shape the technical vision of the product, hire strong engineers and oversee their work, and establish development processes — from task decomposition to CI/CD pipelines.

We expect that you

• Have developed complex systems
