Head of SMB Solution Sales at technology holding MTS Web Services
Technology holding MTS Web Services is looking for a Head of SMB Solution Sales to form and develop the SMB sales division of MWS Cloud Platform.
MWS Cloud Platform is a new cloud platform from MTS Web Services, built on its own virtualization technologies and robust MTS infrastructure. They manage the entire development cycle — from hardware and data centers to code. The goal is to create a high-tech cloud for the most demanding clients, while remaining understandable and convenient for developers.
Responsibilities:
- Form and develop the SMB sales division: strategy, territorial focus, approaches to working with clients, and quality standards.
- Manage the SMB Account Managers team: set goals, assist with prioritization, ensure competency development, and sustainable results. Build a predictable planning system: manage the funnel, ensure forecast accuracy, and transparency on key metrics.
- Organize work with inbound leads and outbound initiatives, and improve the efficiency of opportunity handling.
- Participate in the analysis of key deals and assist the team in complex client situations.
- Coordinate the division's development plan with management and related functions: marketing, product, architecture, partners.
- Ensure the plan for consumption and customer base growth is met.
Requirements:
- Experience managing a sales team in the B2B segment or strong individual sales experience followed by a transition to people management.
- Understanding of how a territory model and one-to-many sales work in the SMB segment.
- Experience with IT solutions or cloud services — at a level sufficient for confident discussion of client tasks and focus scenarios.
- Ability to develop a team, build processes around priorities, and maintain a high standard of client work quality.
- Ability to structure data, work with metrics, and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Strong communication skills and results orientation.
