EksmoDetstvo— the children's editorial department of Eksmo Publishing House. We create books that become a child's first love for reading: from picture books for toddlers to series that schoolchildren and their parents eagerly await. Our portfolio includes children's brands known throughout the country.
We are looking for an experienced manager to develop the editorial department's promotion strategy and lead a team of 25 specialists (branding, PR, digital promotion).
Responsibilities
- Develop and adjust the editorial department's marketing strategy, taking into account the market and competitor actions;
- Manage a team of 25 specialists (4 direct reports: heads of branding, PR, digital);
- Be responsible for the marketing budget: planning, expenditure control, performance evaluation (ROI);
- Build and optimize departmental business processes, implement automation;
- Present marketing initiatives to management and key partners;
- Build communication between editorial departments and marketing;
- Monitor trends in the children's literature market and implement relevant promotion tools;
- Recruit and develop the departmental team.
We expect from you
- Higher education (marketing, economics, journalism/publishing); additional education in marketing or an MBA is a plus;
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, including 2–3 years in a management position;
- Experience as Head of Marketing Department / Deputy Marketing Director / Marketing Director;
- Experience in the publishing business, media, or FMCG; experience with children's products/content or in retail will be a big plus;
- Proficient in Word, advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas); knowledge of 1C, BI systems, CRM, web analytics services is a plus;
- English language Upper-Intermediate and above is welcome;
- Leadership, systemic thinking, stress resistance, results orientation, creativity;
- Understanding of the specifics of the children's and parent audience, readiness to work at the intersection of creativity and commerce.
