Data Analyst for Advertising Team
About the Team
We are looking for a Product Analyst to join the Avito AdTech analytics team.
The product team's goal is to grow media advertising revenue sixfold by 2028. To achieve this, support from the product analytics team is essential, and we invite you to become a part of it. The main products you will work with are direct media advertising from partners (Direct), as well as advertising through partners (Yandex, Buzzoola).
Examples of future tasks:
- Develop new advertising formats and placement locations on the website and in the app to grow Direct advertising;
- Identify opportunities to increase the efficiency of advertising inventory and improve key metrics (CTR, VR) without degrading the user experience;
- Optimize the advertising waterfall and ad placement on the platform;
- Plan and conduct A/B tests, taking into account the cannibalization of other products and the buyer's experience;
- Establish a testing pipeline coordinated with vertical teams, document guardrail metrics and methodologies;
- Participate in projects to develop advertising inventory and formats within the external advertising network.
We expect you to:
- Have at least three years of experience in data analysis or product analytics;
- Be proficient in SQL (you will need to work with large datasets, be able to write complex queries, optimize them, and create analytical data marts);
- Be proficient in Python and its libraries for data analysis;
- Know and be able to apply mathematics and statistics to solve real-world problems;
- Understand the connection between mathematical formulas and their impact on the business;
- Have experience conducting A/B tests;
- Have used BI tools at work (we use Redash);
- Be able to visualize data clearly, present the results of your research, explain complex things in simple terms, and negotiate with colleagues.
Working with us means:
- The opportunity to influence the business and product development;
- Interesting and diverse tasks: analysts at Avito identify business growth points, study user behavior, develop frameworks, and set up dashboards;
- Plenty of high-quality data, powerful infrastructure and tools, any necessary hardware – everything is ready for productive work;
- A talented team, a great analytical culture, and a community of professionals;
- A transparent bonus system, a decent salary – the amount will be discussed during the interview;
- A personal training budget that can be spent on books, courses, and conferences;
- Health care: from day one, you will have health insurance including dental coverage; a general practitioner and a massage therapist are available at the office.
