About the company: Goulash.tech is an IT ecosystem and SaaS platform for automating restaurant business and delivery services. We have been operating since 2011. We develop technological infrastructure for EOKI, Foodgarden, Rolik sushi, UP SUSHI brands, and other Japanese cuisine projects. We provide tools for managing websites, mobile applications, CRM, warehouse, analytics, and courier logistics.

We are looking for an IT Director who will take charge of the entire technical department. There are 11 direct reports: Tech Lead, ML Engineer, QA, Backend, Frontend, Mobile Development, System Analyst, HR, Tech Support, Head of Project Office, and AI Engineer. The total structure comprises 70 people.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct an audit of the current state: development, processes, code, infrastructure. Identify bottlenecks and growth points.
• Establish development and release processes. Currently, product managers and developers work in parallel without synchronization – this needs to be fixed. Set up work so that releases are issued on time and new features appear faster.
• Improve development quality: reduce the number of bugs in production, eliminate release rollbacks, implement engineering practices, and raise code standards.
• Address the legacy problem. There is a lot of it, and it slows down development. A strategy for gradual phasing out of outdated code without disrupting business operations needs to be developed.
• Implement AI in development and internal processes to accelerate team work and increase efficiency.
• Manage payroll budget and team structure: optimize staffing, reallocate resources, and hire new specialists where truly needed.

What we want to see in the candidate:

• At least 7 years of IT management experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a CIO or CTO role. Proven experience leading a team of 50+ people. Ability to build processes from scratch.
• Specific case studies working with legacy code – real experience phasing out outdated code. And experience implementing AI or modern tools that accelerate development.
• Ability to build interaction between technical and product teams. Proficient in Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
• Higher technical education – mandatory. MBA – a plus.
