Online school Profimatica is looking for an Operations Director for the developing Task Bank project — reporting directly to the head.
About the company and project:
- Profimatica is an online school that helps 8th-11th grade students achieve high scores on the Unified State Exam (EGE).
- Task Bank is a huge free bank of tasks in mathematics and other subjects, used daily by students and teachers across the country. They aim to create the best resource in Russia for teachers, schoolchildren, and students — and are looking for someone to help make it happen.
Who they are looking for:
- The Bank already has a team of developers, editors, and tech specialists. Your task is to take control of the operational processes and development of the Bank, ensure the effective work of the team, and drive the project forward. Essentially, you will relieve the head of operational tasks and system control, leaving them in charge of strategy management.
What you will be doing:
Development:
- Monitor the execution of the Bank's development strategy. Control the subject matter content of the bank and the deadlines for implementing new features.
- Engage in the promotion of the Bank together with the team. Initiate and control partnership programs and advertising placements through influencers and tutors.
- Important: we need a person focused not only on project tasks but also on active growth and promotion of the project.
Team Management:
- Maintain a dashboard of team tasks and monitor their completion.
- Ensure close communication with the team: tech specialists, developers, editors.
- Finances and Document Flow:
- Compile the budget for team expenses and provide data to accounting for payment.
- Manage document flow in conjunction with accounting.
- Perform other work assignments from the head.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 2 years of experience in operational/project management.
- Proactive, responsible, and systematic: capable of building processes and seeing things through to completion.
- Passionate about the idea: wants to create the best resource in Russia for teachers, schoolchildren, and students.
- Technical education: will be an advantage, as it will help to understand our product more quickly.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time.
- Full remote work or hybrid is possible (main team is in Moscow).
- Salary based on interview results.
