Yandex is looking for a Content Lead for Alice.
Alice is no longer just a voice assistant. It's a powerful neural network, the number one brand in Russia and one of Yandex's most popular products. Alice's role, value, and communication are changing — and we need someone to lead these changes.
We're looking for someone who can create content with character and understands how it makes a brand more important and valuable — in people's minds and hearts. The main task is to make Alice's meanings more valuable. This role is for those who don't create content based on a classic plan and media mix, but think in terms of meaning.
Your tasks will include:
- Developing a content strategy: You will define the role of social media in Alice's communication, choose platforms and formats, and formulate principles for working with content and the community. We expect you to make decisions based on brand objectives, audience, and data, rather than a standard set of channels.
- Creating content that works for the brand and business: You will be responsible for the content strategy and communication quality. Together with agencies and internal teams, you will brainstorm projects, launch new formats, develop video content, and ensure that each piece of material enhances brand perception, rather than just filling a content plan.
- Developing the community: It's important not only to attract an audience but also to form a community of people around Alice who are ready to interact with the brand, return to it, and create their own content. You will develop the UGC direction, work with creators, and search for mechanics that help build long-term relationships with users.
- Managing external partners: You will select contractors, prepare briefs, manage agencies and production, control the quality of project implementation, and be responsible for the results. We need a person who can organize the process and independently bring ideas to launch.
- Evaluating effectiveness: We link communication projects to business goals, so it's important to be able to define success metrics, analyze results, and explain how SMM affects brand perception and product metrics.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in SMM, with at least 1 year in a lead role.
- Independently developed an SMM strategy or were responsible for the social media development of a major brand.
- Ability to work with agencies, build processes, and take responsibility for results.
- Can showcase projects where SMM influenced not only reach and engagement but also brand perception or business metrics.
- Understands how to build a community around a product, not just increase follower count.
- Thinks in terms of projects and strategy, not individual posts
