Hello! We are Periodica. For over 10 years, we've been creating photo books that help people preserve important memories and stay closer to each other.
Our product has great potential for repeat purchases. Today a client prints a book about a trip, a few months later — about the birth of a child, then sums up the year or prepares a gift for parents. We want Periodica to become not a one-time purchase, but a habitual way to preserve different periods of life and a family tradition that people return to again and again.
Now we are looking for a CRM & Retention Manager — a person who will help us build systematic work with our client base and turn CRM into one of the main channels for business growth.
What you will be doing
- Develop Periodica's CRM strategy and a quarterly development plan for the direction.
- Identify key client segments, scenarios for first and repeat purchases.
- Build RFM segmentation of the database and identify groups with high potential for repeat orders.
- Launch and develop automated scenarios: welcome sequences, abandoned carts and unfinished first order projects, post-purchase communications, next product recommendations, reactivation of inactive clients, work with gift certificates, and other scenarios.
- Formulate a monthly CRM calendar and coordinate it with the company's product, content, and marketing plans.
- Set clear tasks for the editor and designer: who we are writing to, why, what we are offering, why now, and what action we expect.
- Set up or control the launch of email, push, and SMS communications, conduct test sends, and check scenario correctness.
- Build a process for replenishing the database with new contacts: audit all contact collection points on the website, develop new funnels and lead magnets.
- Analyze the results of communications by orders, revenue, margin, and incremental effect, not just by opens and clicks.
- Work with analysts, developers, and the product team: set tasks for events, integrations, and data transfer, explain business logic and expected financial impact.
What we are looking for
- You have at least two years of experience in CRM marketing.
- You perceive CRM as a tool for revenue growth and retention, not just a channel for sending newsletters. You evaluate campaigns by orders, revenue, and margin, and use opens and clicks as diagnostic indicators.
- You love data, but you don't stop at just downloading numbers: you can find causes, draw conclusions, and propose specific actions.
- You can independently form hypotheses, evaluate their potential impact, and bring them to launch.
- You can translate a commercial task into the language of analytics and development, set a clear technical specification, and accept the result.
- You can and are willing to work hands-on: collect segments, check scenarios, analyze data exports, and control launches.
It will be an advantage
- Experience in e-commerce and with IT products.
- Experience with Enkod, Mindbox, Sendsay, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL at the level of independent simple queries or readiness to quickly master it.
- Experience in selecting or migrating a CRM/CDP platform.
Why this role might be interesting to you
You will have the opportunity not to support an existing system, but to build it almost from scratch.
Periodica already has a large client base, high traffic, a mobile app, a recognizable brand, and a product with natural potential for repeat purchases. At the same time, the CRM direction is still in its early stages of development — which means many changes can be quickly reflected in the numbers.
This is a role with great autonomy and a significant impact on the business. You can define the strategy, form the backlog, influence the product and customer experience, launch your own hypotheses, and gradually turn CRM into one of Periodica's key sales channels.
What we offer
- A brand loved by clients and the professional community.
- An emotional product with great potential for repeat purchases.
- Freedom to suggest, debate, test, and change.
- A team that loves good ideas and is ready to implement them.
- Work in a beautiful office in Moscow on Kuznetsky Most.
- The opportunity to print photo books for free several times a month.
