The VK Technical Department is looking for a Technical Project Manager for the OneData team.

OneData is the central team responsible for developing technological data products for the entire VK group of companies, such as OneAB, Horizon, and OneDWH.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage the full lifecycle of technical projects: from initiation to industrial launch
• Take full responsibility for the results of assigned projects
• Organize the work of the project team and ensure the achievement of project goals
• Formulate and maintain the roadmap, project plan, milestones, and dependencies
• Organize processes for planning, estimation, decomposition, and task execution control
• Manage risks, blockers, changes, and stakeholder expectations
• Synchronize the work of multiple development teams and related departments
• Interact with technical leads, architects, product teams, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Participate in technical discussions, help the team make organizational decisions
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, and materials for management
• Ensure project implementation transparency for all participants
• Participate in the project office activities, improve project management practices within the team

Requirements:

Project Management:

• Five years of experience managing complex technical IT projects as a Senior Project Manager or Technical Project Manager
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Implementation of Scrum/Kanban practices, team efficiency metrics
• Ability to make decisions and bring projects to completion
• Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams
• Experience managing dependencies between multiple products/projects
• System thinking and a high level of responsibility

Technical Expertise:

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Understanding of modern architectural approaches
• Understanding of integration interactions between systems
• Understanding of the principles of REST API, GraphQL, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies)
• Ability to read API specifications (Swagger/OpenAPI)

Tools:

• Jira

• Miro
• Ability to read and comment on UML diagrams
• Understanding of BPMN
• Experience preparing technical documentation

• Experience with or understanding of: DWH, ETL/ELT processes, BI analytics platforms, A/B platforms, Hadoop ecosystem
