SDEK is looking for a Director of International Markets Department.
The goal of the position is to ensure the profitable development of CDEK's international business in foreign markets (CIS countries, China and Southeast Asia, and other regions of the world).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing an active growth strategy in international markets, within the scope of own divisions and a partner network in 40+ countries.
- Being responsible for revenue, P&L, market share, and operational logistics indicators.
- Managing sales and marketing, initiating product portfolio development, and implementing new products.
- Managing international transport logistics, freight forwarding, express delivery between countries of presence, and customs clearance (declarations for individuals and legal entities, temporary storage, compliance with customs legislation of the EAEU and other countries).
- Coordinating the work of the CIS macro-regions and China/Southeast Asia, as well as local offices/legal entities (Kazakhstan, Shanghai, etc.).
- Ensuring compliance with unified operational standards and technologies in the international perimeter.
Candidate expectations:
- 7–10 years of experience in logistics, express delivery, international transportation, or foreign economic activity (FEA), with 3–5 years in a director position of an international business unit/directorate/department.
- Experience managing distributed teams across multiple countries/jurisdictions.
- Experience in managing sales and marketing in international markets, and experience with franchise/partner networks is an advantage.
- Knowledge of EAEU customs regulations and specifics of international logistics (including Incoterms, customs declaration, working with CIS and Asian countries).
- Higher education (management, logistics and supply chain management, foreign economic activity, economics); additional education in logistics/FEA/MBA is an advantage.
- English language proficiency — at least C1 level is mandatory, Chinese language proficiency is a significant advantage.
- Willingness for regular business trips to regions of presence (Kazakhstan, China, EAEU countries, etc.).
