Chief Operating Officer (COO) in fashion e-commerce

ZEEM is a Russian denim brand. We sell on Wildberries and Lamoda, work with our own warehouse and direct import.

The company is transitioning from a model where the founder makes all decisions to a management team. We are opening the Chief Operating Officer position for the first time.

Reporting to: Owner. Team: 27 people, heads of departments reporting directly.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct an operational block diagnostic and implement a KPI system: output, cost per unit processed, OTIF.
• Establish a management rhythm: weekly reporting, planning meetings, escalation regulations.
• Reorganize warehouse and logistics for Wildberries and Ozon FBS/FBO.
• Plan, defend, and execute the block's budget.
• Form a team of managers and build the hiring process, including mass recruitment.
• Gradually take over operational zones from the owner.
• Interact with the commercial block and the Chief Financial Officer.

Requirements:

• From 4 years in the position of COO or Operations Director, with at least three managers reporting to you.
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, or distribution with your own warehouse.
• Practical experience in reorganizing a warehouse for FBS/FBO or launching fulfillment.
• Experience in independent budget management for a block.
• Experience working directly with the business owner.
• Data-driven management: you know the key performance indicators of your past projects.

Will be an advantage: experience in fashion (size ranges, incorrect item), white import from China, experience as a client for implementing 1C or WMS.

Not suitable if you prefer administering ready-made corporate processes or managing commerce and P&L.

Conditions:

• First COO position with a mandate to build a system.
• Powers, budget, and handover plan documented in writing.
• Compensation: fixed 200k + KPI.
• Employment according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
