Description
We are looking for a Head of Department who will be responsible for managing key deals and developing categories for the Indian market.
Responsibilities
- Management of key deals:
- Interaction with major corporate clients to comprehensively meet their needs across various product categories. Participation in negotiations with clients leading to a deal.
- Conducting negotiations with Indian manufacturers and suppliers, discussing possible cooperation terms
- Work on improving cooperation terms with suppliers - optimizing supply logistics, renegotiating, cross negotiations, etc.
- Work on the technical specifications of purchased materials and equipment, work with brand equivalents, work with dealers and manufacturers
- Calculation of a turnkey international delivery, including logistics, customs duties, and other fees
- Organization of international delivery, monitoring its execution
- Managing the supply chain from supplier to transit warehouse
- Interaction with a remote team in the Russian Federation, working within a matrix reporting structure
- Category development:
- Building the work of category teams
- Improving the quality of the Indian team's work by training them in approaches to working with clients and suppliers, considering global best practices
- Quality control of the Indian team's work, increasing productivity
- Forming a unified database of Indian manufacturers by sector
- Participation in exhibitions, forums, searching for cooperation opportunities
- Analysis of procurement requests for assigned categories, preparation and defense of category strategies, searching for and maintaining relationships with relevant suppliers in the Indian market
Requirements
- Higher education (economics/technical)
- Relevant work experience in procurement, business development, or sales of more than 12 years in a managerial position in a company with an annual turnover exceeding 50 billion rubles
- Experience in organizing and controlling cargo delivery, logistics, multimodal transportation, including international
- Experience working abroad in procurement/business development/sales for 9 years or more
- Knowledge of designated categories for purchasing materials/equipment/special machinery
- Proficiency in terminology, names of major brands, and technical specifications
- Readiness to work with various product ranges, including openness to delving into new categories
- Development of procurement strategies for 3 or more categories
- High level of English proficiency, ability to conduct negotiations in English
- Experience in direct negotiations with the customer and separately with the supplier
- Knowledge of Russian and international logistics chains
- Understanding of the principles of foreign economic activity (FEA)
- Skills in creating presentations, advanced work with Microsoft Excel, experience working with CRM systems
