Marketing Manager (Protection Model)
We are the Kaspersky DDoS Protection (KDP) team – a separate division (subsidiary of "Protection Model" LLC) within the international security leader, Kaspersky Lab.
Our core product is DDoS attack protection, and we are actively expanding our product portfolio (WAF, Bot Protection, CDN, etc.) to become a unified service for protecting online assets.
We are looking for a marketer who will take on tasks ranging from analytics to business growth. It will be necessary to build processes, scale, and make marketing a key sales tool.
Key Responsibilities:
- defining the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) and product promotion architecture in the market; forming a holistic picture that connects all communication channels;
- monitoring trends, competitor actions, and target audience 'pain points' for prompt strategy adaptation;
- measuring effectiveness not only by reach but also by business metrics (CAC, LTV, ROMI);
- transforming product functionality into fair and competitive pricing for different segments;
- developing pricing tiers as a tool for targeting and retention.
- Conducting marketing research to align pricing with the product lifecycle and overall business strategy;
- developing and implementing plans for launching new products/updates (defining target audience, key messages, choosing promotion channels);
- forming a value proposition, transforming complex technical characteristics into understandable client benefits, creating compelling messages for different audience segments;
- collecting and integrating feedback from clients, the sales department, and first-line support, as well as transferring insights to the product team for product improvement;
- developing and publishing articles, case studies, and webinars demonstrating the company's expertise;
- launching and optimizing campaigns in contextual and targeted advertising (SEO/PPC), email newsletters, SMM, working with industry events;
- providing the commercial team with up-to-date tools for closing deals;
- creating sales materials (developing presentations, commercial proposals, cheat sheets for managers, and product use cases);
- developing personalized campaigns for key clients, taking into account their specific needs;
- working with the existing base to increase loyalty, prevent churn, and stimulate repeat sales (Upsell/Cross-sell);
- creating, adapting, and supporting descriptions of business processes in the areas of sales, marketing, and product development.
Required Experience:
- higher education (marketing or commerce);
- 5+ years of experience in marketing complex information security, IT, or Telecom solutions and products;
- proven track record of success (examples of interesting implemented projects with revenue impact);
- general understanding of the information security (IS) field;
- possessing qualities such as responsibility for results, business orientation (pro-client approach);
- strong communication skills, stress resistance;
- understanding of budgeting processes and document flow in large companies.
Will be a plus:
- knowledge in the field of DDoS attacks, understanding of market players, potential clients, trends;
- ability to represent the company at meetings and events, being a company representative face;
- English language proficiency at the Upper-Intermediate level.
