Head of SMM
We are building an internal agency for content and media solutions for businesses. We are looking for a leader who will take charge of managing the social media of our internal media platform and clients, establish effective content workflow processes, and ensure business results are achieved through social channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
- Develop and implement SMM strategies for the media platform and internal clients.
- Formulate presence plans for brands on social media.
- Define priorities for platforms, formats, and promotion mechanics.
- Ensure stable growth of key performance indicators.
Content Flow Management
- Organize the full content lifecycle: from brief to publication and analytics.
- Coordinate interaction between clients, the content hub, designers, producers, and contractors.
- Manage publication calendars and team workload.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and SLAs.
Internal Client Relations
- Act as the primary business partner for social media matters.
- Identify client needs and develop solutions tailored to their objectives.
- Present and defend strategies, media plans, and approaches.
- Manage client expectations and service levels.
Analytics and Effectiveness
- Develop a KPI system for social media and client projects.
- Analyze the effectiveness of content and distribution channels.
- Be responsible for achieving targets in reach, engagement, audience growth, traffic, and business metrics.
- Implement analytics tools and regular reporting.
- Identify growth opportunities and improve the efficiency of content investments.
Team Management
- Lead a team of SMM managers and project specialists.
- Establish processes for planning, control, and performance evaluation.
- Develop team expertise and implement best market practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing an SMM department.
- Experience working with multiple brands or clients simultaneously.
- Strong project management and process organization skills.
- Experience managing a team and contractors.
- Deep understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and build processes from scratch.
- Agency, media, or content production experience is required.
