X5 Group is looking for an Innovation Business Partner.
Responsibilities:
- Development of a strategy and roadmap for the strategic innovation direction (1–3 years): priority technologies, piloting, effects, resources;
- Management of the innovation project portfolio from idea to scaling: planning, coordination, results monitoring;
- Regular reporting on the portfolio: status, effects, risks, deviations;
- Technology monitoring (platforms, conferences, expert networks): assessment by TRL/IRL and strategic applicability;
- Approval of project pilots with business units (chains, directorates): obtaining operational data, ensuring implementation;
- Management of innovation implementation risks, ensuring compliance with company standards;
- Work with external partners (startups, vendors) and internal stakeholders to organize workshops and knowledge sharing;
- Development of an innovation culture at the X5 Group level: educational programs, trainings, development of innovative thinking.
Candidate Expectations:
- At least 5 years of experience in strategic innovation, with relevant consulting experience being an advantage;
- Extensive experience in effective project management (certification is desirable: PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, CSM);
- Proficiency in methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile: Scrum, Kanban); financial literacy (ROI, TCO, P&L), assessment methods (NPV, IRR, WACC, and others);
- Excellent understanding of modern digital and technological trends, innovations: stage-gate, lean startup, design thinking, open innovation;
- Skill in creating Executive Level presentations;
- Strategic thinking, entrepreneurial approach, decisiveness, results orientation.
