Commercial Director in Shanghai

Required experience: from 3 to 6 years Employment type: Full-time, 5/2 Work format: On-site

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

1. Form the product assortment
2. Conduct negotiations with suppliers
3. Manage a team of 20+ people
4. Organize the procurement process and logistics to the warehouse
5. Manage pricing and settlements with suppliers
6. Develop sales promotion activities together with marketing, conduct market analysis, and search for new niches

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM THE CANDIDATE:

1. Mandatory experience in retail (beauty, fashion, food, non-food, DIY, CE) from the commercial and category management side
2. Chinese language HSK-5
3. Experience as a Commercial Director in China for 3+ years
4. Management of pricing and supply chains
5. Skills in team formation and management (20+ people)
6. Participation in developing promotions together with marketing and partners (brands)
7. Ability to negotiate with C-level executives and decision-makers, management of offline and online sales channels
8. Understanding of omnichannel sales specifics, understanding of the client profile in the beauty segment
