Remote Vacancy.
Foxford online school is looking for a Project Manager with management experience in offline children's education, who understands all the nuances of this area and would be interested in creating such a project from scratch.
Context of the role:
- All Foxford products are online, but they want to enter the offline market as well — they are planning to launch hybrid learning formats so that schoolchildren have an additional opportunity for socialization.
- Right now, the project is at its very beginning, there is an idea and several hypotheses that they want to test. The first tests are planned to be conducted at partner locations, and in the future — to open their own educational hub. They are currently hiring an R&D team (project manager, product marketing manager, and methodologist) that will focus on the development of hybrid formats.
- The project manager will be responsible for assembling the hybrid product into a working operational model: location, people, processes, government requirements, schedule, service, safety, P&L, platform, standards.
What you will do:
- Integrate the work of the product marketing manager and methodologist into a cohesive model: think through what you are selling, to whom, what a child's day looks like, who works on-site, what processes are needed, how the parent receives the service, how the economics are calculated.
- Generate and test hypotheses — and abandon hypotheses that do not yield results in a timely manner.
- Work closely with economics and P&L: calculate the budget, start-up investments, hub P&L, utilization, profitability, payroll, rent, price, break-even point, sensitivity to under-enrollment of children, retention risks.
- At the stage of opening the educational hub, manage the launch: premises, renovation, equipping, branding, schedule, team hiring, training, sales launch, CRM/reporting preparation, tracking actual performance against plan.
- Collect business requirements for our online platform.
What is important:
- At least 3 years of experience in launching and managing an offline location with a license in the field of children's education (private schools/children's educational centers/private kindergartens).
- Experience as a director/manager of an educational center, understanding all the nuances of management and requirements for an educational center.
- Experience in establishing offline operational processes.
- Ability to build a customer journey, quality standards, and communication with parents, incident management.
- Knowledge of government requirements for private educational centers (including regulations, standards, Federal State Educational Standards, licensing).
- Personnel management experience: hiring, training, staff supervision, schedule formation.
- Structured approach: making decisions not intuitively, forming work regulations and a system that makes it comfortable for colleagues to work.
What is offered:
- The opportunity to create and launch a new product on the market — and realize your ideas based on one of the leaders in the children's EdTech market.
- Trust: the assumption that colleagues are professionals and do not engage in micromanagement (no meetings for the sake of meetings), but maintain a high level of autonomy in the team — while being ready to help, support, and share expertise.
- Of course: official employment, white salary, compensation for sick leave and vacations.
- Remote work from the Russian Federation, but there is an office in Moscow near Tulskaya metro station — and you can visit it whenever you want.
- A powerful laptop will be provided if needed.
- Voluntary medical insurance after the probationary period, corporate foreign language courses, paid external training, and, of course, discounts on Foxford products.
Hiring Process:
- Interview with a recruiter.
- Test task.
- Interview with the Head of Hybrid Formats.
- Final interview with the CBDO.
- Offer.
