CEO for Travel Business
A CEO is required for a travel business.
About the company:
A large Russian company forming a vertically integrated, full-cycle tourism ecosystem.
The management perimeter includes:
- A specialized platform
- A tour operator — one of the market leaders
- A chain of branded hotels
- An aviation asset
They are looking for a CEO for one of these verticals.
Key tasks (uniform for all verticals):
Integration of the asset into the ecosystem:
- Ensure seamless connection with other verticals (data, API, commercial mechanics, cross-selling). Utilize the marketplace audience to increase the utilization of its own capacities.
Management of P&L and unit economics:
- Control revenues, expenses, and profitability at the level of each unit (flight, room, tour package, transaction). Ensure EBITDA plan fulfillment.
Digital transformation and automation:
- Implement modern IT solutions (CRM, ERP, API integrations), reduce manual labor, increase process speed and transparency.
Operational efficiency ("hands-on" work):
- Personally delve into key processes: contracting, renovation, funnel setup, slot management — depending on the vertical. Eliminate bottlenecks.
Scaling and launching new directions:
- Expand geography, volumes, and product lines. Launch new hotels, flight routes, and categories on the platform.
High-speed team management:
- Form flat structures without bureaucracy, make quick decisions, delegate responsibility.
Candidate requirements:
- Experience in managing P&L with a turnover of 3 to 20 billion rubles (depending on the vertical).
- Experience integrating one's business into a large ecosystem (marketplace, holding).
- Experience in digital transformation: implementing CRM/ERP/API integrations, transitioning from manual labor to automation.
- Understanding of unit economics and management of metrics (CAC/LTV, ADR/RevPAR, margin per flight/room/tour).
- Experience launching new products or geographical scaling.
- Mandatory "hands-on" experience — personal involvement in setting up operational processes, not just assigning tasks to subordinates.
Personal qualities:
- Entrepreneurial spirit, readiness for hands-on management during launch and transformation periods.
- High decision-making speed, ability to work in conditions of uncertainty.
- Data-driven approach — decisions based on metrics, not intuition.
- Willingness for frequent business trips (Turkey, Egypt, regions of the Russian Federation).
Working conditions:
- Official employment according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
- Income level: market-based fixed part + long-term KPI bonus (tied to vertical EBITDA, NPS, successful integration with other assets).
- Status: direct subordination to top management / shareholders. Participation in shaping the strategy of the entire travel division.
- Location: Moscow (office work + business trips).
- Tasks: building a unique full-cycle travel holding for the Russian market.
