Creative Marketing Lead / CRO Lead
We are MAREE, an international beauty brand. Our products are sold on Amazon in the US and compete with the strongest players in the niche. The one whose product the buyer chooses with their eyes in 2 seconds of scrolling wins.
We are looking for someone to lead the creative CRO direction: to decide how our products look in listings, which visual hypotheses to test — and turn this into growth in CTR, CR, and sales.
This is not a vacancy for an analyst or a designer. This is a role for a marketing leader who loves visuals, understands how a buyer scans a product card, knows how to manage designers — and thinks in terms of money, not "beautiful/ugly".
What you will do:
- Formulate and prioritize a backlog of hypotheses for A/B tests: analysis of competitors, packaging, main images, visual accents in the niche;
- Set tasks for designers and bring ideas to finished creatives — quickly, the test should be ready within a day;
- Launch A/B tests of visuals on Amazon and, together with the data team, decide what to scale;
- Conduct customer development and focus groups with American buyers: find out where they look and how they choose;
- Build a knowledge base: which visual solutions convert better in different cosmetic categories;
- Build your own team of designers and CRO managers from scratch: hire, set KPIs, lead to results;
- Build the system of creative testing itself — methodology, processes, hypothesis pipeline.
Statistical analysis and A/B methodology are the domain of the data team. Your domain is marketing logic, visual hypotheses, design, team, and business results.
You are our person if:
- You sincerely love design, packaging, and product visuals — and can explain why one solution converts better than another;
- You have worked with design (set tasks, evaluated and finalized solutions);
- You understand how A/B tests, hypotheses, samples, and metrics work — at the level of a confident user;
- You can read dashboards (Metabase / Amplitude / Power BI or similar) and calculate basic unit economics;
- You know how to manage people: set tasks, push, motivate, keep the pace;
- You have conducted customer development, interviews, or focus groups — or you confidently know how to build them;
- You are competitive: you want not just to "do marketing", but to outsmart competitors with specific solutions in listings;
- English B2+ — spoken and written: calls with American consumers, texts for listings.
A plus would be: experience in Amazon, marketplace, DTC, beauty, FMCG, product marketing, performance creative, or creative testing.
Why this is cool
- Direction from scratch. You are not supporting a process — you are creating it: methodology, team, knowledge base. And you become the owner of the direction.
- Creativity directly linked to money. Each hypothesis is measurable in CTR, CR, and sales.
- Unique project. Competitors in the niche have not yet built systematic creative testing — there is a chance to get ahead.
- Own team. You will hire designers and managers for yourself; the direction's budget grows with its results.
- Live US market. Direct communication with American buyers, real insights, not second-hand reports.
Conditions:
- Fully remote, from anywhere in the world. Full-time employment, we work for results, not for presence in chat;
- Head of department position reporting directly to top management: no five levels of approvals — decisions are made quickly, your ideas reach testing within a day, not a quarter;
- Decent compensation, discussed individually with final candidates: the level depends on experience and managerial maturity, and it grows with the direction's results;
- Own team and own budget. You hire designers and managers yourself, set KPIs for them, and build the structure for yourself;
- International product and US market. Working with real American buyers, budget for research, focus groups, and tests — we provide the tools for growth, not just promises;
- Immersion and support at the start: access to data and methodology from the data team, Amazon expertise within the company; knowledge of the American consumer is not required — we will teach you from scratch.
