Remote vacancy.
Yandex Crowd is looking for an HR Business Partner to train a neural network.
Your task is to become a mentor for the neural network in matters of personnel management and the design of complex organizational structures. Your professional experience is needed to teach the model to flawlessly diagnose management problems, identify flaws in HR strategies, and design corporate culture development trajectories.
The team understands that delving into the nuances of an IT product takes too much time. You do not need to understand code – you provide professional assessment as a specialist in HR and organizational management, and the engineering team transforms your experience and knowledge into the model's logic.
What tasks await you
- Formulate benchmark answers: you will create benchmark algorithms for solving management tasks, from developing competency matrices and grading systems to designing comprehensive talent retention strategies. The model should know how to digitize "soft" skills and build a KPI hierarchy that directly impacts the company's P&L.
- Identify errors in the model's answers: neural networks often provide general advice from popular psychology instead of professional management tools. You will: identify methodological errors: for example, incorrect use of psychometric tools or ignoring span of control norms when designing organizational structures; verify methodological purity: check whether the model's recommendations are based on proven business frameworks or if they convey superficial advice and management clichés; analyze management risks: assess whether the plan proposed by the model (e.g., a drastic change in the motivation system) will lead to mass employee layoffs or operational paralysis.
- Compare answers: you will compare several answer options to one query: in which answer did the model propose a more competent plan for integrating teams when merging two departments? Where is the analysis of conflict between managers more in-depth and considers group dynamics?
Examples of tasks:
- Recruitment and Executive Search: "Seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a fintech project. Develop a competency profile and search map (target list of companies). Write a strategy for attracting a C-level candidate and propose an assessment system (scorecard) that minimizes hiring risk."
- Organizational Development (Org Design): "The company is transitioning from a product structure to a matrix structure. Describe how managers' roles will change and how to avoid the conflict of dual subordination. Develop a RACI matrix for key interaction processes between marketing and development."
- Talent Management and Assessment: "Design an annual Performance Review system for a large distributed team. What methods (360-degree, calibration, self-assessment) should be used to ensure the result is objective and influences career tracks?"
- Corporate Culture and Leadership: "The company's top management has a low level of mutual trust, which hinders decision-making. Propose a plan for diagnostic measures and facilitation tools to resolve this issue. What markers in leaders' behavior will indicate that the culture has begun to change?"
