Yandex is looking for an L&D Partner.
The company creates useful products for millions of users in Russia and abroad: Search with Alice, Browser, Maps and Navigator, smart devices, and smart home. The services are based on complex, difficult-to-replicate, often unique technologies.
The team works on tasks that have no ready-made solutions and helps employees grow along with the technologies. You will build a development system for teams that create neural network search, text, visual, and multimodal neural networks — technologies competing with the best in the world. Your mission is to create an environment where every specialist can continuously develop, experiment, and contribute to the development of products that help millions of people navigate the digitized world.
What tasks await you:
- Strategic development planning: you will analyze business goals and identify competency gaps to form development plans for your areas. This includes working with metrics to see the real impact of training on business results.
- Creation and delivery of development events: you will independently conduct strategic sessions, facilitations, trainings, and workshops, as well as involve internal and external experts for more specialized programs.
- Partnership with clients: you will work closely with department heads and HRBPs to understand their tasks, manage expectations, and offer them relevant L&D solutions. Communication will be established at different levels.
- Analysis and optimization of processes: you will collect feedback, analyze the effectiveness of events, and constantly propose improvements to the development system in your area of responsibility.
- Working with cross-functional teams: you will interact with other Yandex L&D teams, as well as with internal services to implement complex projects.
Requirements:
- At least three years of training and developing personnel in the role of L&D or T&D partner.
- Ability to listen to the business: gather requests, turn them into understandable concepts, and convincingly present solutions, including negotiating and selling ideas to stakeholders.
- Possess the skill to independently conduct trainings and facilitate sessions.
- See the connection between training, development, and the company's strategic goals.
- Ability to evaluate training effectiveness through operational and business indicators.
- Understand how training affects employee growth and fits into the company's overall HR ecosystem.
- Know modern practices of corporate training and talent development, trends, and innovations in the EdTech sphere.
- Ready to work in a dynamic environment, adapt quickly to changes, and find solutions in conditions of uncertainty.
- Ability to study the target audience: identify motivation, barriers, and optimal formats that ensure engagement and results.
- Use modern technologies, apply AI solutions for data analysis, personalized learning, and automation of routine tasks.
It will be a plus if you:
- Have worked in an IT company and understand the specifics of working with IT specialists.
